Miami Nightlife Guide: Best Clubs, Bars & Late-Night Spots (2026)

Jan 15, 20262 min read

Miami's nightlife is legendary for a reason. Whether you want a mega-club with international DJs, a rooftop cocktail bar, or a low-key live music spot, this city delivers every night of the week.

đŸĒŠ South Beach Clubs

LIV at the Fontainebleau is the gold standard of Miami mega-clubs. A-list DJs, celebrity sightings, and a high-energy scene. Dress sharp and expect $30+ cover on weekends. Table minimums start around $1,000+.

Club Space in downtown is the after-hours institution. Opens at 11PM, goes until noon the next day. Terrace floor is legendary for sunrise sets. More about the music than the scene.

E11EVEN is a 24/7 ultraclub in downtown — part nightclub, part cabaret, part circus. Unlike anything else in the country.

🌃 Rooftop Bars

Sugar at EAST Hotel in Brickell is the best rooftop bar in Miami. Asian-inspired cocktails with 40th-floor panoramic views. No reservations — arrive before 8PM on weekends.

Juvia on Lincoln Road combines a restaurant with a stunning penthouse rooftop. Japanese-Peruvian-French menu with skyline views.

Area 31 at the Kimpton EPIC Hotel overlooks Biscayne Bay and the Miami River. Great for sunset cocktails before dinner.

đŸŽĩ Live Music & Cocktail Bars

Ball & Chain in Little Havana is a restored 1935 jazz club with live salsa bands nightly. The mojitos are strong and the dancing is real.

The Broken Shaker at the Freehand Hotel won James Beard awards for its cocktails. Laid-back garden bar vibe — the opposite of a club.

Lagniappe in the Upper East Side is a wine and cheese bar with live jazz nightly. Outdoor garden seating, no cover charge.

Tips for Going Out in Miami

  • Miami runs late. Clubs don't get going until midnight.
  • Dress code is enforced at most clubs — no shorts, sandals, or athletic wear. See our nightlife guide for club tips.
  • Uber/Lyft is essential. Don't drive.
  • Pregame at a bar first — club drink prices are brutal ($18-25 cocktails).
  • Wynwood is the best area for bar-hopping on foot.
