About Jungle Island

Jungle Island is an interactive zoological park located on Watson Island between downtown Miami and Miami Beach, offering a unique blend of wildlife encounters, adventure activities, and tropical gardens. The park features up-close experiences with lemurs, sloths, kangaroos, flamingos, capybaras, and exotic birds in beautifully landscaped habitats. Thrill-seekers can try the SuperFlight wind tunnel experience, the Jungle Zip zip line over the park, or the rock climbing wall. Daily animal shows and educational presentations highlight conservation efforts and give visitors a chance to learn about endangered species. Jungle Island also hosts private events, birthday parties, and corporate retreats. The park's location on Watson Island provides easy access from both downtown Miami and South Beach, and it can be combined with a visit to the nearby Miami Children's Museum. The park underwent a major renovation and reopened with new interactive exhibits and experiences. Allow 2-3 hours for a full visit.
